How to cover up chipped paint on a tennis racket?
Yeah so yesterday while playing tennis I got really angry and threw my brand-new wilson BLX blade tour. As soon as I threw it I felt awful. Thankfully, there was no structural damage and the frame is fine, but there are a lot of little paint chips, mainly on the head, and near the neck there is a pretty big paint chip. All of the visible chips are on the black area, and the gold and white are fine. Any tips on covering these up?
If it's on the black, the best thing is to get a black nail polish and use that to cover them up. It isn't going to be perfect, though, and you'll still know the marks were there.
Personally, I wouldn't bother covering them up. In a few months, even with normal wear and tear, you're going to get scratches and chips in the paint. I know the desire is there because it is brand new, but covering them up just delays the inevitable.
